Malampuzha Dam and Garden 2024
Malampuzha Dam is the largest reservoir in Kerala. Located near Palakkas in South India and surrounded by western ghats on all sides. Its construction was started in 1949 and project was laid by Public Work Minister, Sri.M. Bhaktavatsalam. Major tourist places near Malampuzha Dam are Cable car rides, Toy trains for kids, Entrance Garden, etc. This dam is 355 feet high and crosses Malampuzha River.
It is a reservoir in Kerala and is served by a network of two canal systems. There is a separate entry fee for ropeway and snake park. The best time to visit Malampuzha Dam is from April to August months.
